Birdfair 2013 update

The process of design and production of materials for Birdfair 2013 is now in full swing. This year the event is celebrating its 25th year, which we have highlighted in the designs. So far we have completed a series of press adverts, posters, mug and car sticker and are currently working on the event programme, which this year comprises 80 pages – the biggest issue ever!

Birdfair 2013

The Creative Mix are delighted to announce that we have been asked to produce promotional materials for Birdfair 2013. This will be the thirteenth year that The Creative Mix partners have been involved with the event. Norfolk-based wildlife artist Robert Gillmor will once again be producing artwork to illustrate the 2013 project which focuses on the Americas Flyway. We will post more details in due course.

Social Enterprise

The Creative Mix have recently joined Social Enterprise East of England – being a social enterprise is in keeping with our ethical approach to business and our aims to improve the environment and the communities where we live and work, through supplying top-quality services at reasonable prices. 

Biggleswade Bulletin

Newton has undertaken a photo shoot for the cover of the Christmas edition of the Biggleswade Bulletin .

James Bond Skyfall World Premiere

Newton attended the World Premiere of the new James Bond Movie ‘Skyfall’. He also took the opportunity to ‘roadtest’ the Fujifilm FinePix X100 digital camera. We have set up a special gallery page showcasing photos from the event.

Local Ladies Mean Business

The Creative Mix hosted a stand at the second LLMB event held at the new Gamlingay EcoHub. The venue was a hive of activity with more than 30 businesses based in nearby towns and villages showed off a wide variety of wares and services, from high fashion hats to beauty therapies, animal feeds to research into family history. Visitors were able to sample and buy goods, and enjoy refreshments while chatting to friends. Author Jo Carnegie presented the best stand’ prize (donated by The Creative Mix) to Tessa Crook of The Bee’s Knees.

Barry is working on another major update of the Ann Bridal website. This follows the sale of the business to a new owner.

Barry has had to take a few weeks off due to an unfortunate incident involving a ladder and some slippery decking! ______________________

Kate and Barry have produced a sticker, banner and poster on the subject of ‘Wise management of Asian Coastal Wetlands’ for BirdLife International.
